100-Word Stories: Writing with Gaps

Oh dear, the poetic muse has gone a little AWOL in the last couple of weeks.  But I have an excuse. I’ve joined a writers workshop.

I can only recommend it as a course of action.  Particularly if, like me, you love the idea of writing but time and motivation (or rather lack of these) are a bit of an issue.  I have found it extremely motivating knowing that in two weeks time I will have a new and willing audience happy to listen to and critique my work.

The combination of cameraderie, criticism and hot chocolate is a winning one and I have high hopes it will help me move on in my creative journey.

Certainly this weeks challenge is an interesting one.  To write a story in a hundred words.

As always with things new to me, I did a bit of searching on the interweb thingy and found some inspiring examples and some interesting writing about the concept.  So I thought I would share.
